  1. Thanks for this exciting news, Robert. I'm thrilled to be nominated with such fine writers. I look forward to reading the stories, and I already know it's going to be tough to decide. I'm grateful for the time and energy the volunteer judges so generously gave to help reach to the finalist stories. Congrats to all the nominees and to all the publications and 'zines & crime fic journals & sites that provide the opportunity for our stories to have homes. A special thanks to Gwen Mayo, too, for all of her fine efforts in this endeavor.
